Blue Apron isn’t what it used to be—and that’s a good thing. Changes often come with questions, and we’ve heard the ones you have about Blue Apron+, Autoship, and all our new meals. So let’s clear the air. Here’s exactly what’s changed, and why dinner (and breakfast, and lunch) just got a whole lot better.
Autoship & Save
Does being enrolled in Autoship come with additional fees?
No! Autoship doesn’t cost anything to be part of, but you’ll save 5% on every item you order.
Can I control how often I get deliveries now?
Yes! With Autoship, you can adjust your schedule to be every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, or every 4 weeks. You can also keep it weekly as you’ve always had.
How do I skip my Autoship order?
Skipping a scheduled delivery is simple.
On the App, go to Orders and tap the Order you’d like to skip. Then tap Manage Order in the bottom left corner, and click Skip in the top right corner.
On Desktop, go to Orders and click the Order you’d like to skip. Click the blue bar on the bottom of the screen, then click Manage Order in the bottom left corner, and click Skip in the top right corner. Follow the prompts to confirm your skip.
How do I reschedule an Autoship order?
From the 'Menu’ page, select the order you want to reschedule, find the order summary, and click 'Manage order'. From there, you can choose a different delivery day, update the address, and even change the payment method. Be sure to make all changes by the date below your scheduled delivery date.
If you want to make changes to all future Autoship orders, you can do so in the ‘Autoship & Save’ section of your ‘Account’ page.
How do I pause my Autoship?
We don’t have the Pause feature anymore, but there are two things you can do instead:
Skip Autoship orders as many times as you want, with no limit.
Cancel your Autoship and re-enroll when you’re ready to start again.
There is no cancellation fee, and your settings will be saved if you re-enroll.
Membership
When the 90-day free trial is over, will I automatically get charged?
No, you will not be charged automatically. If you want to keep using Blue Apron+ after your free trial ends after 90 days (on 11/9/25), you’ll need to sign up in the app. The membership costs $9.99/month and gives you free shipping on every order. Since shipping costs $9.99, the membership pays for itself in just one order.
Will the prices of my meals go up once my free trial ends?
No. Blue Apron+ provides free shipping on every order, but it does not affect the prices of the meals themselves.
Is $9.99/month for Blue Apron+ worth it?
Yes! Shipping costs $9.99 per order, which means that getting free shipping on every order for just $9.99/month can potentially save you a lot. Here’s how the math breaks down:
If you order 1x per month, you save $9.99 in shipping fees
Yes, membership pays for itself in just one order!
If you order 2x per month, you save $19.98 in shipping fees.
If you order 3x per month, you save $29.97 in shipping fees.
If you order 4x per month, you save $39.96 in shipping fees.
And that’s not even to mention the other perks you get with Blue Apron+.
Membership vs Autoship
Is the Blue Apron+ membership the same thing as Autoship?
No, Blue Apron+ and Autoship are two different things.
Autoship is the new and improved version of our recurring meal delivery service. It doesn’t cost anything to be part of, and it saves you 5% on every item you order. Your existing Blue Apron subscription has been moved over to Autoship with all your preferences saved.
Blue Apron+ is an add-on that makes Blue Apron an even better solution for meal planning. Membership includes free shipping, unlimited access to Tastemade+, and exclusive members-only perks.
One more key difference: Autoship automatically sends you boxes, Blue Apron+ does not.
Can I be enrolled in both Autoship and Blue Apron+?
Yes, you can be enrolled in both. With the 5% you save on every order with Autoship and the free shipping that comes with Blue Apron+, you’ll get maximum savings.
General
How do I log into my new Blue Apron account?
To merge your existing Blue Apron account with our new and improved experience, first head to blueapron.com or open the Blue Apron mobile app and log in using your email and password. From there, you should see a pop-up noting some changes we’ve made. As the final step, please enter a mobile phone number to be associated with your account.
I previously had my favorite Blue Apron recipes saved and I can’t find them in the new app. Can I still access these recipes?
Although we weren’t able to import your saved recipes to your new Blue Apron profile, if you can remember the title of the recipe, our CX Team may be able to help. Once you know the recipe title, reach out to contact@blueapron.com — the team can search our recipe archives and send you a PDF copy of the card.
Where is the nutrition information for each recipe
Nutrition information is available online or in the app.
In the App: Tap the recipe you want and scroll down to Nutrition. Once you tap Nutrition, the meal label will appear with all the nutrition information.
On Desktop: Click the recipe you want, then scroll down to and click See Full Details. Once in the recipe page, look for Nutrition and then click See Details. The meal label will appear with all the nutrition information.
Can I still see if a meal meets my dietary goals?
Yes, recipes that are 600 Calories or Less, 45g of Protein, or 30g of Protein per serving will be labeled as such when you click on the recipe details. You can also find wheat-free meals and Vegetarian meals, which are identified by a V or WF icon under the recipe name when you click for recipe details.

Does the menu not change every week anymore
Most of the menu will keep rotating every week to give you new meals to try, just as before. But for the first time, our most popular meals will always be on the menu — which means you'll have staples you can rely on week in and week out
Do you still sell 15 Minute Meals?
Yes, our popular 15 Min Meals are still available. Just search for them by filtering the menu by Cook Time and clicking 15 Minutes OR simply look for the 15Min Meal tag on the menu!
Do you still offer recipe cards?
Yes, recipe cards for your meals are sent with every Blue Apron box. Recipe Instructions can also be accessed on every Recipe Description page in the “Instructions” section in both the App AND on Desktop.
What is Assemble & Bake?
Assemble & Bake is our new line of one-pan meals. With pre-chopped ingredients, 5 minutes or less active time, and minimal cleanup, Assemble & Bake meals make it simple to cook up a crowd-pleaser: just assemble, bake, and enjoy.
Do all Assemble & Bake meals come with an aluminum pan?
Some Assemble & Bake meals come with a pan, but not all of them. Each Assemble & Bake recipe page indicates whether or not a pan is included.
What is Dish by Blue Apron?
Dish by Blue Apron is our new line of pre-made meals. They’re made with at least 20 grams of protein and are a good source of fiber, with no artificial flavors or colors — and they’re ready in 5 minutes or less.
Can Dish by Blue Apron meals be frozen after delivery?
Yes, they can be frozen or stored in the fridge. If stored in the refrigerator, we recommend eating or freezing them within 5 days of receipt.
